Photography started out as a hobby and has gotten somewhat out of hand. My commissioned work falls mainly into the genres of travel and theatre photography, with the latter having become my specialty – see the pages in the top menu for examples. You can also visit my Flickr pages for more photos and my personal work.
Theatre
I document the shows of several Amsterdam-based improv theatre groups, easylaughs, Tag Out Theatre, The Ferocious Four, and Flock Theatre, where I capture the fun, action and drama of improvised comedy theatre. I am also one of the staff photographers for the International Improvisational Theatre Festival Impro Amsterdam.
I also sometimes shoot shows or headshots for local musical theatre companies Happily Ever After Productions and The Cauldron.
My photos are occasionally published in Status, a Spanish/English magazine about improvisational theatre.
Travel
I have sometimes shot photos for city-trip articles in Columbus Travel, the largest independent travel magazine in The Netherlands, showing the latest and most interesting in off-the-beaten tracks in some of Europe’s more and lesser visited cities.
Events
I also do some event photography. I have shot events for temp agency Projob and art book representative and distributor Jesse Presse. Please contact me if you want examples of my work in this field.
